If you face connection issues, please read the instructions below:
Connection issues with your external device
- Check if the cable connected to the external device is correctly plugged in
- Ensure the cable header is not bent or broken
- If you are trying to update the software but nothing happens, make sure you downloaded it correctly
- Ensure the correct input source is selected on your projector
- Ensure your external device is not set to sleep mode
- Check the power cable to ensure your projector is getting power
- Connect your projector using a different signal input. Using a different input will help determine if the issue is isolated to a certain video port or input
- Ensure the resolution is set at the native setting
- Some adapters, such as HMDI to VGA adapter, can cause total signal loss and may not properly convert the signal
- If possible, test your projector with another computer or lap top to see if the problem follows other display
- If using a notebook PC, ensure it has been switched to projector display
- Ensure the file extension is supported
- Ensure the audio codec is supported
- Ensure the bit rate is supported
- Ensure the sample rate is supported
- Ensure the audio channel separation is supported
- If using a USB stick:
- Your projector does not support the exFAT file system
- Ensure to format your USB stick in FAT16 or FAT32
- Check the wall outlet itself because some wall outlets require a light switch to be in the on position for the outlet to be active
If the problem persists follow these steps:
- Turn the projector off by pressing Power on the top of your projector or remote control
- Wait at least 10 seconds
- Turn the projector on by pressing Power once on the top of your projector or remote control
- If the problem persists again, please contact our technical service centre by sending an email to support@screeneo.com or your dealer
