If you face screen display issues, please read the instructions below:
No image from the external device
- Ensure the lens cover is opened
- Ensure the power is on for the projector and connected video sources
- Check if your projector or your external device is not in sleep mode
- Ensure the correct input source is selected
- Check if the cables are connected to the correct sockets
- Switch off the external device, wait 3 seconds and switch it on again
- Ensure all necessary cables are securely connected by unplugging, then firmly reconnecting any power cables and video cables attached to your projector
- Ensure the cable header is not bent or broken
- Adjust the Brightness settings
- Your projector may not be able to project copyrighted videos that you play back on a computer. For details, see the manual supplied with your computer
- While playing a video or watching pictures, ensure to use one of the following supported file formats:
- Video:
- Easy: .dat, .mpg, .mpeg, .ts, .trp, .tp, .vob, .mp4, .mkv, .rm, .rmvb, .avi, .flv
- Easy+: .avi, .divx, .mkv, .ts, .dat, .vob, .mpg, .mpeg, .mov, .mp4, .wmv
- Photo:
- Easy: .jpeg, .bmp, .png
- Easy+: .jpeg, .bmp
- Video:
For NeoPix Easy+ only: When you view videos, the sound or the picture is sometimes distorted or the sound is not synchronized to the picture
- The available WiFi bandwidth is insufficient for sending the video flawlessly from the smartphone to your projector. This can happen if one or more WiFi networks operate in the same frequency range nearby. Certain IoT devices (e.g. ZigBee enabled devices) also operate in this frequency range
- Your smartphone is not fast enough to compress the screen data and send it simultaneously over WiFi
- Your smartphone may maintain parallel connections to your home network and your projector. This will reduce the available bandwidth. Disabling temporarily the connection to your home network may help
If the problem persists follow these steps:
- Turn the projector off by pressing Power on the top of your projector or remote control
- Wait at least 10 seconds
- Turn the projector on by pressing Power once on the top of your projector or remote control
