If you face screen mirroring issues with your NeoPix Ultra, please read the instructions below:
Screen mirroring does not work
- Make sure no other mobile device is connected to your projector
- Restart both your projector and mobile device
- Try to disconnect and reconnect both your projector and your mobile device
- Ensure your device is connected to the same network as your projector
- The wireless network quality can affect the performance of your connection. Check your router and restart it if possible
- Turn off your router, wait at least 10 seconds and then turn your router on again
- Make sure your projector is not standing too far from your mobile device
- Make sure the mobile device settings are correct
- In some cases, the router and/or box may block connections. So make sure that the screen mirroring ports are open in your router/box
- If using Android device: in order to allow screen mirroring, your device must support Miracast. Indeed, not all Android devices support this function. The function name can be also known as Screencast, Screen Sharing, WiFi Direct, Wireless Display, etc.. Please refer to the user manual of your Android device to check if this function is supported and how it can be enabled
- If screen mirroring doesn't work anymore after a firmware update of an Android or iOS device, check regularly for new firmware of your projector (read this article to know how to update your NeoPix Ultra)
- Due to content protection (DRM), mobile devices can't "mirror" streaming platforms (such as Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc.) to projectors
If the problem persists follow these steps:
- Turn the projector off by pressing Power on the top of your projector or remote control
- Wait at least 10 seconds
