Congratulations! You just received your PicoPix Max. Here's some tips on what you should setup first upon turning on your projector.
First, point the remote to the back of the projector and press the Focus key (in between the volume keys).
Where are the settings?
If you press up-arrow key on the remote, you'll pass by the quick settings icons, and reach the More Settings icon (gears) on the top right. Press OK to open the settings app.
Note: If your projector has a firmware older than v1.1.0, you will see a sidebar open up. Choose "Projector Settings" from this sidebar to open the settings app.
Which settings to configure first?
- Go to Bluetooth settings and pair your AirMote so you don't have to point at the projector all the time. More details: How to pair the AirMote
- Go to Language/Time Zone and select your language and timezone. (The time will be automatically corrected after you connect to WiFi.)
- Next, connect your projector to WiFi. You can use the AirMote to input the password by pressing the mouse button on the remote.
- Finally, go to Software Update and install the latest software. More info: Updating the projector's software
The basic setup is now complete. If you don't do this setup, several apps and features will not work.
