You can wirelessly project content on your NeoPix Ultra either with iOS or Android devices. This article explains you how to do it with an iOS device. Please read this article to know how to do it with an Android device.
Wireless projection with iOS devices
Take your iPhone and follow these steps:
- Turn on your iPhone's Wi-Fi
- Turn on your projector's Wi-Fi by pressing Home Menu on the top of your projector or on your remote control and select Settings/WiFi Settings/Enable WiFi/On
- Press Home Menu again and use the Navigation buttons on the top of your projector or on your remote control to select EZCast
- The message window is displayed to prompt you to connect your iPhone to the WiFi network which is named after your projector name. The WiFi network name and the password are given in the message
- By default, your projector name is ‘NeoPixPrime-XXXXXXXX’ (‘X’ indicates a letter or digit), and the password is 12345678
- To change your projector name, press Home Menu on the top of your projector or remote control, and select Settings - WiFi Settings - Screen Mirroring Settings - Device Name, then use the pop-up virtual keyboard to input letters and digits
- To change the password, press Home Menu on the top of your projector or remote control, and select Settings - WiFi Settings - Screen Mirroring Settings - Password, then use the pop-up virtual keyboard to input letters and digits
- On your iPhone, access the WiFi settings again and select your projector's Wi-Fi network to connect your iPhone to the network
- Then still on your iPhone, access Control Center by sliding the screen up, and select the Screen Mirroring option. Select your projector name under Screen Mirroring to connect your iPhone to your projector
- After successful connection, the screen content of your iPhone is casted to the projection surface
Casting online video
You can stream online video from your iPhone to be played on the full projection screen:
- Connect your projector to the Internet by pressing Home Menu on the top of your projector or on your remote control, and select Settings - WiFi Settings - Screen Mirroring Settings - Internet. Then select your WiFi network name and use the pop-up virtual keyboard to input WiFi network password
- Select Mirror + Stream for video casting by pressing Home Menu on the top of your projector or on your remote control and select Settings - WiFi Settings - Screen Mirroring Settings - Default Mode. Then use the Navigation buttons on the top of your projector or on your remote control to select Mirror + Stream
- Mirror only is used to mirror the screen content of your iPhone to the projection screen
- Connect your iPhone to your projector for screen mirroring. Repeat the steps described in the section "Wireless projection with iOS devices" just above
- View online video on your iPhone, and tap the TV icon on the video picture to access Apple TV mode. The video is now cast and played on the full projection screen

Note that due to content protection (DRM), Wi-Fi screen mirroring can't be used to stream platforms like Netflix, Hulu, etc., unless used via Google Chrome from a Mac or PC.
